When you’re on the road more than 150 days a year, finding a resort & restaurant which feels like a home away from home is a rare and wonderful thing.  Caprice is such a restaurant.  Whether it is the cushy chairs, stylish & elegant decor, delicious meal, or the personable staff who are genuinely happy to see you...I am ever more greatful for this gem at Four Seasons, Hong Kong.

Although Chef Vincent Thierry was MIA on this particular evening, his immaculately trained sous chefs and (open) kitchen staff realized his visions beautifully.  From the delightful and refreshing amuse bouches, to the subtly balanced sauteed duck foie gras with passion fruit & carrot sauce and the smoked beef tenderloin...every dish was adventurous, delicious, and fulfilling.  Although my braised line-caught sea bass fell just short of magical, I was ably dazzled by the heart-warming champagne and wine list, grand petit fours, and magnificent cheese cave.

Thanks to the wonderful Chefs & staff @ Caprice especially GM Jeremy, who prove that sophistication and elegance can be delivered with the warm smile.
